Julia Amaral’s post-stewardess career got its start in Real Estate in Marin County during the 70’s and 80’s. During that time, she served for several years on the Board of the Marin Ballet.

In 1993, she married Mark Strate, moved to Grass Valley and managed their own properties. She also chaired the Nevada County AirFest for two years and served on the boards of the Foothill Theater Company and Foothills Compassionate Care.

She currently serves on the Center for the Arts Advisory Committee, as well as continuing to manage their real estate properties.

She serves on the Board “to grow, improve, and share classical music” in our community.
