Nancy Donahue has been a member of the MIM staff for over 25 years. Along with recently setting up her remote box office (most of the time on the porch of her cottage in the forest), she is enjoying learning new technical skills for presenting virtual MIM events. Formerly an elementary teacher, technical writer, secretary, and music copier in the LA music business, she says her favorite job has been working at MIM. Along with fulfilling her dream of being a part of a creative team preparing for events, she also delights in engaging with the patrons and volunteers! Music is her first love; she has been in the MIM chorus since 1991, plays piano, and recently took up the violin after many years in order to play in the Sierra College volunteer OLLI orchestra (in the very back, she says). She now has some extra time to get back to her second love of painting and is also looking forward to “socially-distanced” kayaking and camping with friends this summer.
